Dedications to our dads and the father figures in our lives!
“As a kid, I struggled with authority and conformity. My father showed me by example how to carve my own lane and figure out what success looks like for me. He also taught me to ignore social conventions and speak my mind, especially when I can make people laugh!”
“My dad has shown me that someone can come from nothing and work hard to create a life they love. He’s taught me perseverance, self discipline, and to eat cotton candy with one hand so the other hand doesn’t get sticky.”
“Strong work ethic, love of people, advertising, sales and marketing. My father’s famous words, “It never hurts to ask” which impacts my life daily. He has shown me great love, compassion and always leave someone else feeling good.”
“I’m blessed to have two dads! My father has shown me how to be humble and kind to everyone. My stepfather has shown me how to be strong and brave. I’m so grateful God had given me these two!”
“I’m so excited forFather’s Day this year because my husband will be a father for the first time. We’re just days away from meeting our son and I know he’s going to be a great dad.”
“I’m so fortunate to have such a great relationship with my dad! Moving away from Florida 8 year has been really difficult for me because I only get to see him a few times a year. Luckily for FaceTime, we talk almost every day! We are one and the same!”
RD’s Highlights from May…
Prolonged mental and physical exhaustion leads to stress and burnout. Lack of self-care exacerbates the issue and even the simplest tasks become overwhelming. Nate recognized that he was crashing into a wall and needed to immediately put the brakes on and disconnect. Support from the RD team and family, he headed to the Sivananda Ashram in the Bahamas.
“My Ashram trip was life changing. Prior to leaving for the trip, I was overworked, overstressed, and I could not see the forest for the trees. Taking the space to pause and reflect on life and work gave me the fresh perspective I needed to continue with leading such a phenomenal team, and to continue pushing for an even better offering for clients.” – Nate
